Structural analysis of equipment and grillages is performed for custom design, and
under-deck strength of ships and barges is also checked that carry these heavy loads

Motion Analysis
Motion analysis of ships, barges, mooring structures, buoys, caissons, etc are
provided. Software: Amarcon Octopus, Moses, Ansys Aqwa & Hydro-D
Operability Analysis
Operating rate of equipment is analyzed based on statistical data on wave heights
and periods in the operating area and the heading of the vessel. This allows us to
calculate the utilization rates of crane operations for monopiles, rock and gravel
dropping operations to prevent scouring, and other operations. Based on the results,
proposals are made to improve the utilization rate. Software used: Orcaflex
Stability Analysis and Ballasting Planning
Stability analyses and ballasting plans for ships, barges, SEPs are performed. These
calculations are required by classification societies and underwriters when wind
turbine components are transported by heavy lift vessels, SEPs, or barges. In
addition, a ballasting plan is required to offset variations in the vessel's trim
and heel when the heavy lift is loaded onto the vessel by the SPMT. Software
used: GHS, in-house developed software
Mooring analysis and bollard bull calculation
Mooring calculations for single point mooring buoys and conventional mooring systems
are performed. Bollard pull (towing force) calculations are also made and an
appropriate tug boats are selected based on the results. Software used: Orcaflex,
in-house developed software
Foundation Analysis
Geotechnical analysis to optimize the design of Jacket Template and Pile Gripper is
performed. MP self-stability analysis, self-settlement, impact driving analysis,
scouring, liquefaction, and pile run studies are also performed.
Dynamic Motion Analysis during Monopile Installation
Behavior of a monopile/J-tub due to external forces such as waves, currents, and
wind is analyzed when it is lowered by a crane and it is determined that the sea
conditions under which the crane and Pile Gripper can safely operate and remain
within the safe load range. Software used: Orcaflex, etc.
Drive and Control System Design
Design of hydraulic drives and control systems is performed for not only
custom-designed pile grippers, MP upending hinges, jacket templates, etc. but for
the existing structures and equipment. FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Assessment)and risk
assessment are also performed.
